What problem does it solve?

The cfp Skill removes the chaos of writing and submitting a conference proposal or paper by providing a structured, repeatable pipeline that turns “I should submit something” into a complete, mineable submission project with tracked decisions, verbatim references, drafted deliverables, critic passes, and post-acceptance shepherding.

Core Features & Use Cases

• Submission project bootstrap: Creates a consistent project scaffold under ~/cfp/<slug>/ with CLAUDE.md, beads state, refs/, and research/ (and a paper/ LaTeX layout when the venue is peer-reviewed).
• Venue decision interview + locked constraints: Captures conference identity, hard deadlines, format, and hard limits verbatim, and determines whether a peer-reviewed paper sub-arc must run.
• Verbatim reference capture and angle exploration: Populates refs/ without summarizing, then generates 3–5 angle options and locks the chosen framing.
• Drafting and critic-loop quality control: Produces proposal.md (short form) or paper/ (academic shape), then runs read-only critic passes and enforces char-count/page/placeholder gates.
• Submission + post-acceptance pipeline: Tags as-submitted state, archives acceptance communications and deadlines, handles camera-ready/revision work for peer-reviewed venues, and performs arXiv + open-science artifact bundle workflow where required.
• Handoff to talk-building: Creates ~/cfp/talk-<slug>/ and ensures cross-linking and mineable handoff when the submission is ready for deck creation.
