FAQPage Schema

How do I plan a cloud migration for legacy on-premises workloads?▼

Plan a cloud migration by using a structured assessment framework to classify workloads and determine suitable migration paths. This approach guides you through discovery, assessment, and phased execution to ensure a streamlined transition.

What is the 6 Rs strategy for cloud migration assessment?▼

The 6 Rs strategy is an assessment framework used to classify workloads during a cloud migration. It helps determine the most suitable migration path for each application, ensuring proper resource allocation and phased execution.

How do I migrate an on-premises SQL Server database to AWS RDS?▼

Migrate an on-premises SQL Server database to AWS RDS by following detailed database migration workflows. These steps include discovery, assessment, phased execution, and optimization tasks tailored for IT infrastructure teams.

Can I use a multi-cloud strategy for AWS and GCP migration?▼

Yes, you can use a multi-cloud strategy for AWS and GCP migration. The process provides technical guidance for multi-cloud architecture considerations, allowing you to develop a detailed roadmap with cost analysis and rollback plans.

What is the best way to estimate costs for a network cutover to the cloud?▼

Estimate network cutover costs by using detailed cost estimation workflows provided during the migration planning phase. This approach offers structured methods for assessing network infrastructure and executing the cutover with rollback plans.
