💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill solves the need for quick and deterministic insight into the relationship between an incumbent and a buying agency on a pursuit row, using USASpending data.

Core Features & Use Cases

Relationship Insight: Provides a snapshot of the relationship between the incumbent and the buying agency based on USASpending data.
Data Source: Utilizes USASpending data to analyze historical spending and contract relationships.
Use Case: Before diving into battlecard or teaming work, quickly assess the incumbent's relationship with the buying agency using historical data.

Quick Start

Generate a competitive snapshot for the incumbent and buying agency on the pursuit row by running the competitive-snapshot skill.

Frequently Asked Questions about competitive-snapshot

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I analyze an incumbent's relationship with a buying agency using USASpending data?▼

You analyze the incumbent and buying agency relationship by running the competitive-snapshot skill, which processes historical USASpending data to generate a quick relationship snapshot for a pursuit row.

What's the best way to assess incumbent contract history before starting battlecard or teaming work?▼

The best way to assess incumbent contract history is generating a USASpending relationship snapshot, which provides deterministic insight into the incumbent and buying agency relationship before diving into battlecard or teaming work.

Do I need to ingest data into DuckDB before generating a USASpending relationship snapshot?▼

Yes, you need to perform a DuckDB bulk ingest of USASpending data before generating the relationship snapshot, as the skill operates deterministically from DuckDB data.

Can I use USASpending data to quickly evaluate a pursuit row's competitive landscape?▼

Yes, you can evaluate a pursuit row's competitive landscape by analyzing historical USASpending data, which generates a relationship snapshot between the incumbent and the buying agency on that row.

Does the competitive snapshot skill require external dependencies or APIs to analyze contract intelligence?▼

No external dependencies or APIs are required beyond DuckDB bulk ingest, as the skill operates deterministically from the ingested DuckDB data to produce the incumbent and buying agency relationship snapshot.

What limitations exist when generating USASpending relationship snapshots from DuckDB data?▼

The snapshot's accuracy depends entirely on the DuckDB bulk ingest of USASpending data, and the skill operates deterministically from that data without real-time API queries or external contract intelligence sources.
