SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill transforms thousands of fragmented concept notes into a structured intellectual map by removing duplicates, identifying recurring themes, and preserving the evolution of ideas over time.

Core Features & Use Cases

Concept Deduplication and Merging: Combines overlapping concept stubs into canonical ideas while preserving aliases and timelines.
Tiering and Synthesis: Scores concepts by recurrence, breadth, and engagement to identify canon, developing ideas, speculation, and riffs, then creates deeper narratives for important concepts.
Use Case: A researcher or knowledge worker with years of notes can use this Skill to discover their recurring frameworks, trace how ideas matured, and generate a connected map of their intellectual work.

Quick Start

Ask the concept-synthesis skill to analyze my concept pages, remove duplicates, and build a tiered intellectual map.

Frequently Asked Questions about concept-synthesis

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I turn scattered concept notes into a structured knowledge graph?▼

To turn scattered concept notes into a structured knowledge graph, you synthesize fragments by removing duplicates, identifying recurring themes, and preserving idea evolution. This process outputs a deduplicated, tiered intellectual map with linked relationships.

What is the best way to deduplicate overlapping ideas in a research archive?▼

The best way to deduplicate overlapping ideas in a research archive is to merge overlapping concept stubs into canonical ideas. This deduplication process preserves original aliases and timelines while consolidating the information into a single canonical structure.

How does concept synthesis score and tier recurring themes in personal knowledge bases?▼

Concept synthesis scores recurring themes by evaluating concepts based on recurrence, breadth, and engagement. This scoring heuristic categorizes ideas into canon, developing concepts, speculation, and riffs, then generates deeper narratives for the most important concepts.

Can I trace concept evolution and merge timelines across thousands of fragmented notes?▼

Yes, you can trace concept evolution and merge timelines across thousands of fragmented notes. The synthesis process applies timeline merging to track how ideas mature over time while connecting them into a unified intellectual map.

Does idea clustering work for discovering patterns in unstructured concept pages?▼

Idea clustering works for discovering patterns in unstructured concept pages by applying thematic clustering and scoring heuristics. It identifies recurring frameworks and synthesizes the fragmented pages into a structured output with linked relationships.

What are the limitations of synthesizing an intellectual map from personal knowledge bases?▼

A limitation of synthesizing an intellectual map from personal knowledge bases is that output quality depends heavily on the initial volume and detail of your concept pages. Fragmented or sparse notes may lack the recurrence needed for effective scoring and deeper narrative generation.
