What problem does it solve?

Creating consistent registry documentation for MCP servers is slow and error-prone when users manually translate settings from mcp.json into mcp.md.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Automatic mcp.md generation: Converts server name, command/args or type/url, env, headers, and inputs directly from an existing mcp.json into the registry’s mcp.md format.
  • Documentation gathering with fallbacks: Pulls tool/function details from an existing README, upstream documentation (or prompts for missing URL info), or the tool’s --help output.
  • Registry-safe linking: Only adds a skills: entry when a matching skill name already exists, avoiding invented or incorrect references.

Quick Start

Tell the assistant: "Read mcp/<Category>/<name>/mcp.json, gather any available documentation, and generate the correct mcp.md using the registry convention."
