FAQPage Schema

How do I generate Warp tab configs from a natural language request?▼

Yes, you can define multiple tab groups and slash commands in a single request. The generated TOML file will include the specified layouts and commands, validated against the tab-configs schema for your Warp build.

How does automated tab config creation handle file naming and directory paths?▼

Automated tab config creation handles file naming and directory paths by writing the generated TOML files directly to the correct tab_configs directory, automatically creating any missing directories required for deployment.

Do I need to manually validate my generated TOML against the tab-configs schema?▼

No, manual validation is unnecessary because the system validates your natural language inputs directly against the tab-configs schema before writing the TOML file, ensuring the output is immediately ready for Warp.

What is the best way to create a multi-tab workspace layout for Warp without writing TOML manually?▼

The best way to create a multi-tab workspace layout without manual TOML is to provide a natural language request specifying your tabs. The system outputs a ready-to-deploy TOML file adhering to the tab-configs schema.

Why does my Warp tab config generation fail when specifying complex layouts?▼

Warp tab config generation may fail if the natural language request implies a structure that violates the tab-configs schema. Ensure your described layouts, tab groups, and slash commands align with supported Warp configurations.
