Frequently Asked Questions about Creating Research Packages

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I organize complex research documentation for multiple audiences?▼

Organize research documentation into self-contained packages with standardized directory structures, dedicated entry points (00-START-HERE.md, README), and role-based navigation paths. This enables readers with different time budgets and expertise levels to find relevant content without redundancy.

What's the best way to structure technical knowledge packages for verification?▼

Structure packages with core-topic files, design-decisions documentation, verification-review sections, and audit trails. This standardized approach maintains accuracy tracking for critical technical knowledge and creates transparency around domain expertise and reasoning.

How do I create multiple reading paths in technical documentation?▼

Design documentation with cross-linked time-budget paths tailored to reader roles—quick overviews for decision-makers, detailed technical specs for implementers, and verification workflows for reviewers. Visual aids and role-based navigation guides readers to relevant sections.

Can I use research packages to document APIs and complex systems?▼

Yes. Research packages apply to documenting API architectures, algorithms, and complex systems across domains. Use quick-reference sections for architects, technical deep-dives for developers, and security-verification sections for compliance roles—all within a single navigable package.

What structure do research packages require?▼

Research packages require standardized directories with 00-START-HERE.md, README, how-to-use-this.md, core-topic files, design-decisions.md, QUICK-REFERENCE.md, and VERIFICATION-REVIEW.md. This structure enables self-contained, multi-entry-point knowledge accessible to diverse audiences.
