SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Cross Gun addresses the challenge of punishing dodges that escape simple straight-line shots by delivering a compact cross-pattern attack that covers the center line and its immediate diagonals.

Core Features & Use Cases

Compact cross-pattern action that hits the center line and the immediate diagonals to constrain opponent mobility.
Useful when the target moves across multiple lanes, forcing predictable responses and materializing follow-up opportunities.
Guardrails ensure the action does not overextend to unintended lanes or waste shots.

Quick Start

Deploy Cross Gun when the target won't stay in one lane and report which center and diagonal lanes were affected.

Frequently Asked Questions about cross-gun

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I punish dodges when a target moves across multiple lanes?▼

To punish dodges across multiple lanes, execute a compact cross-pattern shot that hits the center line and immediate diagonals simultaneously. This covers diagonal escape routes during a single action, constraining opponent mobility.

What is a cross-pattern shot and how does it cover diagonal escape routes?▼

A cross-pattern shot is a combat maneuver that hits the center line and nearby diagonals in a single action. It covers diagonal escape routes by constraining a target that refuses to stay in one lane, forcing predictable responses.

When should I use a cross-pattern combat maneuver instead of a straight-line shot?▼

Use a cross-pattern combat maneuver when the target will not stay in a single lane and straight-line shots miss. It is designed for tight lanes where a deterministic, single-action workflow can cover center and diagonal escape routes.

How do I set up lane coverage for a compact cross-pattern attack?▼

Setting up lane coverage requires a deterministic, single-action workflow with clearly defined center and diagonal lanes. Deploy the cross-pattern attack within these tight lanes and report which center and diagonal lanes were affected.

Does the cross-pattern shot include guardrails to prevent hitting unintended lanes?▼

Yes, the cross-pattern shot includes guardrails to prevent overreach and ensure the action does not overextend to unintended lanes or waste shots. These guardrails keep the attack compact and confined to the center and diagonals.

Can I apply a cross-pattern shot in combat scenarios without clearly defined lanes?▼

No, applying a cross-pattern shot requires clearly defined center and diagonal lanes to function correctly. Without a deterministic, single-action workflow and defined lane structure, the guardrails cannot prevent overreach effectively.
