SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) and assets (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

Convert rough coding requests into precise Codex /goal contracts, enabling clear boundaries, measurable outcomes, and reusable goal artifacts.

Core Features & Use Cases

Goal artifact generation: Create GOAL.md files and optional goal packages (PLAN, ACCEPTANCE, VALIDATION, STATUS) to codify long-running or complex tasks.
Flexible activation modes: Produce direct /goal commands, file-based GOAL.md scaffolds, or full package directories for multi-phase projects.
Guided structure and safety: Enforce standard goal sections (Objective, Context, Scope, Constraints, Validation, etc.) and embed pause, budget, and reporting rules.

Quick Start

Provide a concise objective and boundary details, and ask the skill to generate a ready-to-start /goal artifact.

FAQPage Schema

How do I convert rough coding requests into structured goal contracts for automation?▼

To convert rough coding requests into structured goal contracts, you generate a GOAL.md file or full goal package containing sections like OBJECTIVE, SCOPE, CONSTRAINTS, and ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA to establish clear boundaries and measurable outcomes for your automation tasks.

What is a Codex /goal contract and when do I need one for software engineering tasks?▼

A Codex /goal contract is a structured artifact defining boundaries, validation, and progress tracking for coding tasks. You need one for short, medium, or long-running projects requiring clear scope, non-goals, budget limits, and pause conditions to ensure measurable outcomes.

How do I generate a GOAL.md scaffold with validation and reporting rules?▼

You generate a GOAL.md scaffold by providing a concise objective and boundary details, which triggers the creation of standard sections including VALIDATION, PAUSE CONDITIONS, BUDGET, and REPORTING, along with a Start command to begin the run immediately.

Can I create goal packages for multi-phase projects across different files and packages?▼

Yes, you can create full package directories for multi-phase projects across files or packages. These packages include PLAN, ACCEPTANCE, VALIDATION, and STATUS artifacts to codify complex, long-running tasks with flexible activation modes for comprehensive progress tracking.

Does the goal contract generation require any external dependencies or tools?▼

No, the goal contract generation requires zero external dependencies. It operates independently to produce direct /goal commands, file-based GOAL.md scaffolds, or full package directories from your rough coding requests without needing other tools or plugins.
