SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps teams create minimal, falsifiable experiments to test their most critical assumptions, reducing time and resources spent on building unvalidated ideas.

Core Features & Use Cases

Riskiest Assumption Analysis: Identifies the most critical assumption to test.
Testable Prediction Generation: Transforms assumptions into testable predictions.
Experiment Design Coaching: Guides the team in designing the cheapest and most falsifiable test.
Pre-Registration of Results: Ensures that the result that would change the team's mind is defined before testing begins.
Decision Rule Setting: Determines the action based on the test outcome (proceed, pivot, or kill).
Use Case: Before investing in a new feature, use this Skill to design a test that will quickly show whether the feature is worth pursuing.

Quick Start

Run the 'design-cheapest-test' skill to generate a falsifiable test for your assumption.

FAQPage Schema

What is pre-registration in experiment design and why is it needed?▼

Pre-registration in experiment design involves defining the specific result that would change your mind before testing begins. It sets clear decision rules for whether to proceed, pivot, or kill a feature based on the test outcome.

What is the best way to set decision rules before running a product validation test?▼

Identifying the riskiest assumption for agile development involves analyzing your product idea to find the most critical untested hypothesis. Structured prompts guide you in transforming this assumption into a targeted, testable prediction.

Can I use this experiment design process without external dependencies?▼

The best way to set decision rules for product validation is to determine the specific actions of proceeding, pivoting, or killing the project based on potential test outcomes. This is established through pre-registration before the experiment starts.

How do I ensure my feature idea is worth pursuing before investing resources?▼

You can use this experiment design process without external dependencies because it relies entirely on user input for assumptions and decision-making. Structured prompts guide the falsifiable test generation internally within your agile workflow.
