SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Design delegation reduces turnaround time and ensures consistent frontend aesthetics by offloading work to a dedicated DESIGN subagent.

Core Features & Use Cases

Delegation of frontend design work to a specialized subagent with its own design doctrine.
Supports fullstack app briefs, mockup sandboxes, and variant exploration via startAsyncSubagent or subagent.
Workflow includes generating a rich creative brief and launching a DESIGN subagent with specialization.

Quick Start

Write a rich design brief describing WHAT to build and WHO it's for, then start an async DESIGN subagent using startAsyncSubagent with specialization: "DESIGN".

FAQPage Schema

How do I delegate frontend design to a subagent?▼

To delegate frontend design, you write a rich creative brief describing what to build and who it's for, then launch a DESIGN subagent using startAsyncSubagent with a DESIGN specialization to ensure consistent aesthetics.

What is a design brief and why do I need one for UI exploration?▼

A design brief is a detailed document specifying what to build, who it is for, and any constraints. It is required to guide the DESIGN subagent during UI exploration and ensure consistent design doctrine across variants.

Can I use async subagents for mockup sandboxes and variant exploration?▼

Yes, you can use startAsyncSubagent to launch a DESIGN subagent for mockup sandboxes and variant exploration. This accelerates UI exploration by offloading work to a specialized async process.

Does frontend design delegation work for fullstack app briefs?▼

Frontend design delegation supports fullstack app briefs by offloading the UI design tasks to a DESIGN subagent. This reduces turnaround time and maintains a consistent design doctrine across the fullstack application.

What are the limitations of delegating design work to a subagent?▼

The main limitation is the requirement for a rich creative brief; without detailing what to build, who it's for, and constraints, the subagent cannot effectively guide the design doctrine or generate consistent mockups.
