High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I plan a design sprint from start to finish?▼

To plan a design sprint, use a structured 5-day schedule covering Understand, Diverge, Decide, Prototype, and Test phases. This enforces a planning checklist, clear roles, and test logistics to guide teams from challenge framing to a validated prototype.

What is a design sprint and when do I need one for team alignment?▼

A design sprint is a structured process to align teams on a challenging brief and rapidly produce a validated prototype. You need one when your team struggles to align on a design challenge and must produce a validated prototype within a tight timeframe.

Can I run a remote design sprint or a shorter mini sprint?▼

Yes, you can run a remote design sprint or a mini sprint. The skill provides specific variations for Mini and Remote sprints to fit different team sizes and working contexts while maintaining the core sprint structure.

What roles and logistics do I need to facilitate a design workshop?▼

Facilitating a design workshop requires assigning clear roles and managing test logistics. The skill provides planning checklists and logistics guidance to ensure efficient sessions throughout the Understand, Diverge, Decide, Prototype, and Test phases.

What is the best way to frame a design challenge before prototyping?▼

The best way to frame a design challenge before prototyping is to start with the Understand phase. This initial step in the 5-day sprint structure ensures team alignment before moving into ideation and prototype testing.

Does the 5-day sprint structure work for all team sizes?▼

The 5-day sprint structure adapts to different team sizes and contexts using Mini and Remote sprint variations. These variations maintain the core Understand, Diverge, Decide, Prototype, and Test phases while fitting different collaborative needs.
