What problem does it solve?

Auto-stashes uncommitted work in ~/dev/* repositories at session end. This prevents losses of evolving code during long Claude Code sessions, especially when branch switches occur.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Auto-stashes on session end for any repo under ~/dev/
  • Uses a recoverable git stash with a recognizable claude-checkpoint prefix
  • Rotation: keeps up to 20 checkpoints per repo and prunes older ones
  • Recovery is a breeze via git stash list and git stash apply

Quick Start

Register and enable the hook so that Claude Code automatically stashes uncommitted changes in ~/dev/* repos at every session end.
