FAQPage Schema

How do I start a local development server with live rebuilds?▼

How do I monitor build status across multiple packages?▼

You monitor build status across multiple packages by reading the `ag-watch-status.json` status file. This Nx-based integration exposes deterministic status fields to help you track recent builds and troubleshoot failures.

What is the best way to troubleshoot watch build failures in a monorepo?▼

Troubleshooting watch build failures in a monorepo involves checking the `ag-watch-status.json` file. This file surfaces recent build statuses and diagnostic information across all packages to isolate issues quickly.

Do I need to configure HTTPS for a local Astro dev server?▼

Configuring HTTPS for a local Astro dev server requires using a shared HTTPS server and handling self-signed certificates. Proper cert configuration is necessary to ensure smooth automated local development workflows.

Can I use Nx to manage watch builds for a multi-package project?▼

Yes, you can use Nx to manage watch builds for a multi-package project. The system integrates with the `nx dev` command to coordinate local dev servers, monitor build statuses, and automate live rebuilds across packages.

Why does my local dev server not show live rebuilds?▼

Local dev server live rebuilds may fail if the watch build process crashes or encounters source errors. Check the `ag-watch-status.json` file to inspect the current build status and diagnose the specific package failure.
