SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Diagrams help teams capture and communicate the current architecture and design decisions through deterministic, standards-compliant visuals.

Core Features & Use Cases

Generate and refine C4 context and container diagrams from workspace artifacts (requirements, objectives, solution outlines).
Evaluate diagrams for consistency, patch inconsistencies, and recheck after updates.
Visualize architecture artifacts and ensure alignment with governance guidelines and layout patterns.

Quick Start

Generate a C4 container diagram from the current workspace artifacts.

Frequently Asked Questions about Diagrams

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I generate C4 context and container diagrams from existing architecture artifacts?▼

Generate C4 context and container diagrams by feeding authoritative workspace artifacts like requirements, objectives, and solution outlines into the tool, which deterministically renders standards-compliant visuals.

What is the best way to enforce draw.io C4 v29+ layout and metadata rules for architecture diagrams?▼

Enforce draw.io C4 v29+ rules by using a deterministic rendering and patch workflow that validates placeholders metadata and layout guidelines against your architecture artifacts.

Can I automatically evaluate and patch inconsistencies in my container diagrams?▼

Yes, you can evaluate container diagrams for consistency, automatically patch inconsistencies, and recheck the updated visuals to ensure alignment with governance guidelines.

Do I need specific workspace artifacts to create consistent architecture diagrams?▼

You need authoritative workspace artifacts such as requirements, objectives, and design artifacts to generate consistent C4 context and container diagrams with deterministic rendering.

Where are generated C4 diagrams stored and how do they integrate with the registry?▼

Generated C4 diagrams are stored under the docs/03_architecture/diagrams/src directory and integrated directly with the workspace registry for unified architecture governance.

Why does my architecture diagram need a patch and recheck workflow?▼

A patch and recheck workflow ensures your architecture diagrams remain consistent with source artifacts by validating layout patterns, patching inconsistencies, and rechecking after updates.
