SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Plan digital health studies and research protocols without assuming a particular app stack, enabling researchers to define enrollment, consent, data collection, assessment schedules, and outcomes in a structured, reusable plan.

Core Features & Use Cases

Study overview and planning framework that captures objective or hypothesis, population, study type (observational, interventional, feasibility, or survey-based), duration, milestones, and operational constraints.
Enrollment and consent workstreams with inclusion/exclusion criteria, recruitment channels, screening steps, consent requirements, and withdrawal processes.
Data collection and assessment scheduling templates, including data types, sources, frequency, and outcome measures; exportable briefs suitable for IRB planning or project scoping.

Quick Start

Create a concise study planning brief and save it to docs/planning/study-brief.md.

Frequently Asked Questions about digital-health-study-planning

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I plan a digital health study and research protocol from scratch?▼

To create a digital health study brief, define your objective, target population, study type, and duration. The brief then structures enrollment, consent, data collection, assessment schedules, and outcome measures into an exportable document.

What is included in a structured digital health study planning brief?▼

A structured study planning brief includes the objective, population, study type, duration, milestones, enrollment and consent plan, data collection matrix, assessment schedule, outcome measures, and risk considerations.

Can I use this to plan both observational and interventional digital health studies?▼

Yes, you can plan observational, interventional, feasibility, or survey-based digital health studies. The framework adapts to define specific enrollment, data collection, and outcome requirements for each study type.

Does the study planning framework support defining inclusion criteria and consent workflows?▼

Yes, the framework supports defining inclusion and exclusion criteria, recruitment channels, screening steps, consent requirements, and withdrawal processes to structure your enrollment and consent workstreams effectively.

How do I schedule data collection and define outcome measures for a research protocol?▼

You schedule data collection by mapping data types, sources, and frequency using the assessment scheduling templates. Outcome measures are defined within the data collection matrix to align with study milestones.

Is an exportable study brief suitable for IRB planning and project scoping?▼

Yes, the exportable study planning brief is designed for IRB planning and project scoping. It consolidates operational constraints, risk considerations, and assessment schedules into a structured, reusable format.
