What problem does it solve?

This skill turns a blog’s 30-day “what’s being discussed” research need into a ranked, de-duplicated set of cross-platform findings that can be used for downstream writing.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Platform-targeted discourse retrieval: Pulls results from multiple sources (reddit, X, Hacker News, Substack, dev.to, GitHub, LinkedIn Pulse, Facebook, Quora, podcasts, and academic discovery).
  • Deterministic ranking, deduping, and clustering: Computes combined_score using relevance and recency, dedupes by title overlap, and clusters across sources to surface themes.
  • Writer-ready outputs with source verification scaffolding: Produces discourse.md plus sidecars (including tiering guidance) for later citation verification and drafting.
  • Specialist orchestration behavior: Designed to be invoked by the 4D Blog Engine orchestrator during Phase 3 (Discernment), not by end users directly.

Quick Start

Ask the 4D Blog Engine orchestrator to run the Phase 3 “30-day discourse sweep” for the topic angle so it writes ranked discourse research into the piece’s 03-discernment folder.
