Structure the conclusion in six parts: restate the purpose and research questions, synthesize findings by pattern, interpret implications for theory and practice, address limitations honestly, restate significance, and close with a forward-looking statement. Typical length is 8-12 pages.

Identify patterns that cut across your findings rather than restating each research question sequentially. Support each pattern with evidence such as participant counts, quotes, or cross-case comparisons, and begin interpreting what the patterns mean.

Address sample size, context specificity, single time points, self-report data, researcher bias, and selective participation. State each limitation matter-of-factly, explain its effect on interpretation, and suggest how future research could address it without over-apologizing.

A typical conclusion chapter runs 8-12 pages. Allocate roughly half a page to the opening restatement, 2-3 pages each to synthesis and implications, 1-1.5 pages to limitations, and half a page each to significance and closing.

Common mistakes include summarizing instead of synthesizing, introducing new citations or data, over-apologizing for limitations, making claims beyond the study's scope, and ending weakly without connecting back to the opening problem.
