What problem does it solve?

This Skill removes problematic hard line breaks from AsciiDoc files, ensuring compatibility with DITA output by preventing conversion errors.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Removes Line Continuation Markers: Eliminates + at the end of lines, joining them with the next line.
  • Removes Hardbreak Attributes: Strips :hardbreaks-option: and %hardbreaks or options=hardbreaks from blocks.
  • Use Case: Prepare a large AsciiDoc manual for conversion to DITA by automatically cleaning up all instances of hard line breaks that would cause validation errors.

Quick Start

Run the dita-line-break skill to remove hard line breaks from the file named 'my_document.adoc'.
