What problem does it solve?

Centralises fetching and decoding of animated images so extensions and agent panels don't need to implement fragile, duplicated logic for Giphy, Tenor, direct URLs, or local files, and can request vibe-matched search queries via an LLM when available.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Multi-source routing: Accepts source-prefixed queries (giphy:, tenor:), direct HTTP(S) URLs, local file paths, or bare text routed to the first configured source.
  • Frame decoding and sizing: Returns decoded image frames with configurable sizes (tiny → huge) and LRU caching with session-aware clearing.
  • Vibe-query generation: Optionally generates short, vibe-matching search terms via an LLM using extCtx, respecting content rating and provider keys.
  • Use Case: Use this Skill to display celebratory stickers in a floating panel or to load context-aware GIFs for task feedback in Pi extensions.

Quick Start

Ask the image-fetch API to fetch a tiny Giphy sticker matching "dragon coding" and return decoded frames ready for display.
