What problem does it solve?

Durex solves the problem of losing GenServer state after crashes or node migration by persistently checkpointing state to an external store so it can be restored later.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Crash recovery via checkpointing: Periodically writes selected GenServer state to Redis or Tigris for recovery after failures.
  • Node migration readiness: Restores checkpointed state when a process is moved to a different node.
  • Bootstrap + module instrumentation: Bootstraps Durex into a Phoenix/Elixir app and adds Durex hooks to existing GenServer modules.

Quick Start
