SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

When your tasks get delayed, postponed, or newly inserted, this Skill automatically reorders only the affected time chain so your day remains consistent without doing full rescheduling.

Core Features & Use Cases

Cascading reschedule for disrupted plans: Rebuilds the schedule from the affected slot onward, instead of redoing everything.
Rigid vs elastic task handling: Protects rigid tasks (fixed deadlines/slots) and only moves elastic tasks where appropriate.
Energy-aware placement using your rhythm: Fits tasks into available windows based on energy peaks and mode (e.g., afternoon energy mode).
Low-interruption notifications: Silently executes for 0–1 changes; summarizes and asks confirmation when changes are two or more.

Quick Start

Ask your agent: “Dynamically reschedule my afternoon after this task got delayed—keep the rest stable.”

Frequently Asked Questions about dynamic-reschedule

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automatically reschedule my day when a task gets delayed without rearranging everything?▼

To reschedule a disrupted day automatically, you can trigger a cascading update that reshuffles only the affected time chain onward. This preserves rigid tasks while refilling elastic slots based on your energy rhythm.

How does energy-aware schedule optimization work when refilling available time slots?▼

Energy-aware schedule optimization works by fitting elastic tasks into available windows based on your personal energy peaks and modes. It reads your user rhythm to prioritize task placement during appropriate energy levels.

Can I sync cascading schedule updates directly to TickTick?▼

Yes, you can sync cascading schedule updates directly to TickTick. The rescheduling process writes the updated state and automatically pushes the adjusted time chain to your TickTick task management account.

What happens to rigid tasks with fixed deadlines during a cascading reschedule?▼

During a cascading reschedule, rigid tasks with fixed deadlines or time slots are strictly preserved. The optimization only moves elastic tasks to accommodate the disruption while protecting your rigid constraints.

Do I need to confirm schedule changes when multiple tasks are reshuffled?▼

You need to confirm rescheduling changes when two or more tasks are affected. The system silently executes updates for zero or one change, but summarizes and asks for confirmation when multiple tasks are reshuffled.

When should I use cascading rescheduling instead of rebuilding my entire schedule?▼

Use cascading rescheduling for partial disruptions like task postponement, overdue detection, or adjusting a specific period. It rebuilds only the affected time chain rather than redoing your entire day schedule.
