Cross-note pattern discovery in an Obsidian vault analyzes your local corpus to surface recurring technical approaches and decisions. It generates a structured report revealing connections across your notes over a selectable time window.
Vault pattern analysis supports time-window based reporting. The default range is the last 30 days, but you can specify a 14-day window or analyze only the current week to focus your trend detection.
Analyzing vault notes for cross-cutting trends requires a local corpus file at ~/.claude/obsidian-brain/emerge-corpus.json. This file must exist before running the analysis to generate the structured patterns report.
The generated vault pattern analysis report is saved as a markdown file at ~/.claude/obsidian-brain/emerge-analysis.md. You can reference this emergent report within your vault notes for knowledge sharing.
