SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Managing liquid restaking on Ethereum requires depositing ETH, receiving eETH, optionally wrapping it into weETH, and later withdrawing back to ETH, which can be complex and error‑prone.

Core Features & Use Cases

Deposit ETH to receive eETH via the ether.fi LiquidityPool.
Wrap eETH into weETH (ERC‑4626) to earn combined staking and EigenLayer rewards.
Unwrap weETH back to eETH and unstake eETH to retrieve ETH after the exit queue.
View balances, APY, and TVL in a single command for portfolio monitoring.

Quick Start

Ask etherfi to stake 0.1 ETH and wrap the resulting eETH into weETH.

FAQPage Schema

How do I stake ETH and wrap it into weETH for EigenLayer restaking?▼

To stake ETH for EigenLayer restaking, you deposit ETH into the ether.fi LiquidityPool to receive eETH, then wrap that eETH into weETH to earn combined staking and restaking rewards.

What do I need to configure before depositing ETH to receive eETH?▼

Before depositing ETH to receive eETH, you need to configure a compatible wallet, install the onchainos CLI, and provide an Ethereum mainnet RPC endpoint to execute transactions.

Can I unstake eETH and withdraw it back to ETH directly?▼

You cannot withdraw eETH directly to ETH; you must unstake eETH and wait for the exit queue to process before retrieving your native ETH.

How can I monitor my liquid restaking portfolio balances and APY?▼

You can monitor your liquid restaking portfolio by viewing balances, APY, and TVL in a single command, providing a comprehensive overview of your eETH and weETH holdings.

What is the difference between eETH and weETH when liquid staking on Ethereum?▼

eETH is the basic liquid staking token received when depositing ETH, while weETH is the wrapped ERC-4626 version that accrues combined staking and EigenLayer restaking rewards.

Why do I need to unwrap weETH before unstaking my ETH?▼

You must unwrap weETH back into eETH because the protocol requires the base liquid staking token to initiate the unstake process and enter the exit queue for ETH withdrawal.
