FAQPage Schema

How do I fact-check JavaScript documentation for code accuracy and API compliance?▼

JavaScript concept pages are fact-checked by verifying code block outputs, cross-referencing API usage with MDN and the ECMAScript specification, and validating external links. This yields a structured verification report detailing phase-based checks and remediation steps.

What is involved in verifying JavaScript code examples against real behavior?▼

Verifying JavaScript code examples involves checking that the stated outputs and side effects of code blocks match actual execution results. The fact-check mechanism tests these examples and documents any discrepancies in a formal verification report for editorial review.

How do I validate external links and resources in JS concept pages?▼

Validating external resources in JS concept pages requires confirming that outgoing links are reachable, relevant, and up-to-date. This external resource check is integrated into the fact-check workflow to prevent misinformation and ensure documentation safety.

Can I use an automated fact-check process for community contributions to JavaScript docs?▼

Yes, you can apply a fact-check process to community contributions and major edits of JavaScript concept pages. It audits code examples, API references, and external resources to ensure technical correctness before publishing.

When do I need to run a documentation verification report for ECMAScript compliance?▼

You need to run a verification report when creating new JavaScript concept pages or making major edits. It cross-references language features with the ECMAScript specification to ensure API usage and code examples are factually accurate and safe for publication.
