SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Calculate the AI-readiness score (0-100%) for any project with a project.faf file. The score provides a Podium tier (Trophy/Gold/Silver/Bronze) and identifies strengths, gaps, and an actionable improvement roadmap.

Core Features & Use Cases

Verifies presence of project.faf, executes the faf score, and reports the numeric score, Podium tier, strengths, gaps, and next-tier target.
Applies to projects at any maturity level to baseline AI-readiness and guide targeted improvements.
Use Case: Run FAF-score after faf-init to validate the initial AI-readiness baseline and plan enhancements.

Quick Start

Run faf score on your current project.faf to obtain the AI-readiness score and tier.

Frequently Asked Questions about faf-score

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I calculate my project's AI-readiness score using a project.faf file?▼

To calculate your AI-readiness score, run the faf score command on your project.faf file. This generates a 0-100% score, a Podium tier, and a structured improvement roadmap across documentation, architecture, and deployment.

What is a Podium tier in AI-readiness score analysis?▼

A Podium tier is a maturity classification—Trophy, Gold, Silver, or Bronze—assigned to your project based on its 0-100% AI-readiness score. It helps quickly identify your current status and the next tier target for quality improvement.

What do I need to run an AI-readiness assessment for my codebase?▼

You need an existing project.faf file in your project directory. The tool verifies this file exists, executes the score calculation, and reports strengths, gaps, and actionable guidance for improving project architecture and documentation.

When should I measure my project's AI-readiness and Podium tier?▼

You should measure AI-readiness after initializing your project.faf file to validate the initial baseline. Apply it at any maturity level to identify documentation and deployment gaps, plan enhancements, and track progress toward the next tier target.

What does the faf score output include for quality improvement planning?▼

The faf score output includes your numeric AI-readiness score, Podium tier, current strengths, identified gaps, next tier target, and actionable guidance. This structured roadmap directly targets improvements across documentation, architecture, and deployment.
