SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

The Feature Implementation Workflow provides a structured, repeatable approach for planning, validating, and documenting new features in Gosling2, ensuring architectural compliance and high quality.

Core Features & Use Cases

Phase-driven Planning: Discovers requirements, surveys the codebase, and designs a compliant implementation plan.
Layered Architecture Alignment: Enforces separation across UI, service, and data layers with tests and reviews.
Phase-wise Verification & Documentation: Guides automated testing, code reviews, and documentation updates.

Quick Start

Use this workflow to plan and implement a new feature by following the Phase 1 planning steps, then execute Phase 2 implementation, and finish with Phase 3 verification.

Frequently Asked Questions about Feature Implementation Workflow

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I plan feature implementation in Gosling2 to ensure architectural compliance?▼

You plan feature implementation in Gosling2 by following a structured workflow that surveys the codebase, discovers requirements, and designs a compliant implementation plan enforcing separation across UI, service, and data layers before coding begins.

What is the best way to structure a workflow for new software features?▼

The best way to structure a workflow for new software features is using a phase-driven approach covering discovery, design, implementation, verification, and documentation to enforce architecture checks and cross-team collaboration.

How do I verify and document features during software development?▼

You verify and document features by executing phase-wise verification steps that guide automated testing, code reviews, and documentation updates across the project to ensure quality and architectural compliance.

Does this feature planning workflow enforce layered architecture alignment?▼

Yes, the feature planning workflow enforces layered architecture alignment by checking separation across UI, service, and data layers with required tests and reviews before implementation proceeds.

Can I use this workflow for cross-team software engineering collaboration?▼

Yes, you can use this workflow for cross-team software engineering collaboration because it enforces phase-based planning, architecture checks, and reviews that coordinate teams before coding begins.
