FAQPage Schema

How do I manage RSS and Atom feed subscriptions for individual users?▼

Per-user RSS and Atom feed subscriptions are managed by setting a user context environment variable and running native CLI commands to add, remove, list, and refresh feeds in a self-hosted database.

Can I import and export OPML files for feed subscription management?▼

Yes, OPML import and export are supported for feed subscription management, allowing you to migrate categories and subscription lists into or out of the self-contained database using the native CLI.

How do I subscribe to and refresh Tumblr and Are.na feeds via CLI?▼

To subscribe to Tumblr and Are.na feeds, run the CLI add command with the feed URL; an optional Tumblr API key can be configured to authenticate and poll updates for your per-user context.

Does this feed manager support scheduled polling for multiple users?▼

Scheduled polling is supported for per-user contexts in a self-hosted single-tenant environment, where a single executor uses the run-scheduled CLI command to refresh feeds for individual users.

What is required to set up per-user feed subscriptions in a self-hosted environment?▼

Setting up per-user feed subscriptions requires a self-hosted environment, a defined FEEDS_USER context variable, and optionally a Tumblr API key to manage RSS, Atom, Tumblr, and Are.na feeds via the CLI.

What are the limitations of managing feeds in a single-tenant environment?▼

The limitation of this single-tenant approach is that one executor manages subscriptions per individual user context, meaning it is not designed for multi-tenant public hosting but rather self-hosted personal feed management.
