FAQPage Schema

How do I generate design system rules for Figma to code workflows?▼

You can generate design system rules for Figma-to-code workflows by automating the creation of project-specific guidelines that enforce MCP integration, design tokens, and naming conventions. This ensures consistent standardization across your codebase.

What are Figma MCP integration rules and when do I need them?▼

Figma MCP integration rules prescribe how AI agents interact with Figma files to extract code. You need them when onboarding AI agents or starting new projects to standardize the Figma-to-code workflow across your codebase.

Can I use Figma design tokens to enforce component naming conventions automatically?▼

Yes, you can enforce Figma design tokens and component naming conventions automatically by generating a customized design system ruleset. This ruleset outlines token mapping to code, naming patterns, and component organization.

What is the best way to standardize Figma to code workflows for AI agents?▼

The best way to standardize Figma-to-code workflows for AI agents is to generate a project-specific design system ruleset. This provides an implementation plan and MCP integration workflow tailored to your codebase.

Do I need Figma MCP to create project-specific design system guidelines?▼

Yes, utilizing Figma MCP is required to create project-specific design system guidelines through this approach. The generated rules enforce MCP integration to map Figma tokens to code and standardize component patterns.
