Run `npx skills find [query]` with keywords describing your task, such as `npx skills find react performance`. You can also browse the skills.sh leaderboard to see the most-installed skills by category.
Use `npx skills add <owner/repo@skill> -g -y` to install a skill globally. The -g flag installs at user level and -y skips confirmation prompts.
Check three signals: install count (prefer 1K+, be cautious under 100), source reputation (official sources like vercel-labs or anthropics are more reliable), and GitHub stars on the source repository.
If no relevant skill is found, the agent can handle the task directly with its general capabilities. You can also create your own reusable skill by running `npx skills init my-skill-name`.
Run `npx skills check` to see which installed skills have updates available, then run `npx skills update` to update all installed skills to their latest versions.
