What problem does it solve?

This Skill reduces the friction of triaging and executing items from your Things task list by automatically identifying which tasks Claude can complete or assist with, proposing plans, and executing confirmed automations.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Task discovery and prioritization: Read Things Today and Upcoming (within 7 days) and surface candidate tasks.
  • Categorization: Classify tasks into actionable (Claude can complete), assistable (Claude can help but user action required), and human-only tasks.
  • Execution & integration: After user confirmation, perform automated actions (write drafts, run scripts, update Things via URL scheme) and mark completed items.
  • Use case: Run finish-todos in the morning to clear small engineering, writing, or admin tasks and draft messages or scripts for items that need user intervention.

Quick Start

Ask Claude to "finish-todos" and confirm which green tasks to execute now.
