Frequently Asked Questions about fleet-payload-tasking

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I deploy payloads and commands across my entire fleet of endpoints?▼

Fleet-wide payload deployment uses reliable tasking to send payloads or shell commands to all targeted endpoints simultaneously. The skill handles deployment orchestration, offline sensor management, and automatic result collection across Linux, Windows, macOS, and Chrome platforms.

Can I run vulnerability scans and compliance checks on multiple endpoints at once?▼

Yes. The skill enables fleet-wide scanning and inventory collection by deploying complex payload scripts or simple commands across your endpoints. Results are automatically collected and organized for analysis, even when sensors come back online after being offline.

What platforms does fleet payload deployment support?▼

Fleet-wide tasking works cross-platform on Linux, Windows, macOS, and Chrome endpoints. This enables consistent payload execution and data collection across heterogeneous environments without platform-specific workarounds.

How are results collected when endpoints are offline during deployment?▼

The skill automatically handles offline sensors by storing tasking instructions and collecting results when endpoints reconnect. This ensures no data loss and provides complete visibility even in environments with intermittent connectivity.

What's the difference between running simple commands versus complex payload scripts fleet-wide?▼

Simple commands execute directly on endpoints for quick operations like status checks. Complex payload scripts enable advanced scenarios like custom data collection and vulnerability scanning with offline sensor handling and centralized result aggregation.
