SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Forge provides a structured, repeatable process to create and ship SVK skills, reducing guesswork and governance gaps across design, plan, build, validate, and release.

Core Features & Use Cases

5-phase pipeline: brainstorm → plan → build → validate → ship, enabling end-to-end skill development.
Context injection for SVK-skills with automated shipping checklist validation to ensure consistent quality.
Deterministic scaffolding and reusable templates to accelerate new skill creation and shipping.

Quick Start

Begin by running /Forge:brainstorm to outline and design your new SVK skill.

Frequently Asked Questions about Forge

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I create and ship SVK skills with a structured workflow?▼

You create and ship SVK skills using a guided 5-phase workflow that enforces a shipping checklist across brainstorm, plan, build, validate, and ship stages to ensure consistent quality and reduce governance gaps.

What is the best way to manage release planning for SVK skill development?▼

Release planning for SVK skills is managed through deterministic scaffolding and a guided pipeline that takes you from brainstorming to shipping, enforcing validation and a shipping checklist to maintain consistent quality.

How do I start building a new SVK skill from scratch?▼

To start building a new SVK skill, run the brainstorm command to outline and design your skill, then progress through the plan, build, validate, and ship phases using provided deterministic scaffolding and reusable templates.

Does the Forge workflow enforce a shipping checklist for skill validation?▼

Yes, the Forge workflow enforces an automated shipping checklist during the validate and ship phases, ensuring that all SVK skills meet consistent quality standards and governance requirements before release.

Can I use reusable templates to accelerate SVK skill creation?▼

Yes, you can use deterministic scaffolding and reusable templates to accelerate new SVK skill creation and shipping, providing a structured, repeatable process that reduces guesswork across the entire development lifecycle.

What are the limitations of using a guided workflow for SVK skill development?▼

The guided 5-phase workflow is specifically tailored for SVK developers and targets SVK skill development, meaning it enforces a rigid pipeline structure that may not be suitable for general software engineering tasks outside of SVK skill creation.
