What is a Follow-Through Day and how does it confirm a market bottom?▼

How do I detect Follow-Through Day signals for S&P 500 and NASDAQ?▼

You detect Follow-Through Day signals by running this Skill, which monitors S&P 500 and NASDAQ historical data. It applies a state machine to track market transitions from correction to rally attempt and qualifies FTDs automatically.

Do I need an FMP API key to track market bottom signals?▼

Yes, you need an FMP API key for historical data retrieval. The Skill depends on the fmp_client and requests libraries to fetch the S&P 500 and NASDAQ market data required for Follow-Through Day analysis.

Can I get equity exposure guidance after a market correction?▼

Yes, you can get equity exposure guidance after a market correction. The Skill generates a quality score alongside the Follow-Through Day detection to help you determine if it is safe to increase equity exposure.

What market states does the Follow-Through Day state machine track?▼

The Follow-Through Day state machine tracks three market states: correction, rally attempt, and FTD qualification. This progression monitors S&P 500 and NASDAQ trends to validate when a market bottom is forming.

When should I not rely on Follow-Through Day trading signals?▼

You should not rely on Follow-Through Day trading signals as a sole indicator, because FTD analysis tracks broad S&P 500 and NASDAQ trends for market bottoms but does not guarantee individual stock performance or eliminate market risk.
