SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

Engine-agnostic design workflow that produces production-grade design documents and specifications for engineers, designers, and producers.

Core Features & Use Cases

Engine-agnostic GDDs: Generates comprehensive design documents consumable by Unity/Unreal/Godot teams.
Systems Design: Architect core loops, economy, mechanics, and progression with clear handoff notes.
Production-Grade Artifacts: Produces pillar definitions, phase outputs, and structured docs for production pipelines.

Quick Start

Provide a unified design brief and generate the initial GDD for a new game concept.

Frequently Asked Questions about game-design

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I create a game design document that works for Unity, Unreal, and Godot teams?▼

An engine-agnostic game design document provides a unified structure for core loops and mechanics, ensuring production-grade handoff-ready specs for engineers and artists across Unity, Unreal, and Godot pipelines.

What is the best way to structure mechanic specs and economy balancing for a production pipeline?▼

Structure mechanic specs and economy balancing by generating pillar definitions and phase outputs, delivering clear handoff notes that integrate directly into production pipelines for producers and engineers.

How do I start generating a GDD from a new game concept?▼

Start generating a GDD by providing a unified design brief, which the system uses to architect core loops, progression, and economy balancing into an initial production-grade document.

Does this game design workflow support progression and core loop architecture without engine dependencies?▼

Yes, this engine-agnostic workflow supports architecting progression and core loops by generating comprehensive system specifications and handoff notes without tying design docs to a specific engine.

Can I use these system specifications for handoff to engineers, artists, and producers?▼

Yes, you can use these system specifications for handoff, as they deliver production-grade pillar definitions and phase outputs specifically structured for engineers, artists, and producers.
