What problem does it solve?

This Skill helps you analyze and design strategies for repeated interactions where defection can spiral, and where you need cooperation to last over time despite mistrust or betrayal.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Iterated game analysis: translates a real-world ongoing relationship into stage-game payoffs (CC, DD, exploitation) to determine whether repetition can make cooperation rational.
  • Shadow-of-the-future modeling: evaluates time horizon, relationship value, continuation likelihood, and impatience to estimate whether future incentives can outweigh short-term gains from defection.
  • Strategy selection & recovery: recommends concrete long-run strategies (e.g., Tit for Tat, Generous Tit for Tat, Grim Trigger, Win-Stay Lose-Shift) and provides a recovery path after betrayal.
