What problem does it solve?

Obsidian users struggle to quickly access and compare structured information across crystals, lessons, and PKOS vault notes. This Skill automates the generation of standardized Base files that enable powerful, filterable views without manual reformatting.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Generates multiple .base files (crystals.base, knowledge-quality.base, tags-overview.base, kb-lessons.base, cross-project-decisions.base, cross-project-lessons.base, project-activity.base) to provide consistent, queryable perspectives across projects.
  • Supports table, board, and card-like views that let you slice, dice, and group knowledge by type, project, status, and date within the PKOS vault and linked notes.
  • Use cases include cross-project knowledge audits, progress dashboards, and consolidated knowledge views for PKOS vaults.

Quick Start

Run the generate-bases-views skill to create all base files in the PKOS vault under Obsidian/PKOS/99-System/bases and review them in Obsidian.
