SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

The gofer:diagnose skill automates the debugging process for Gofer by creating a reproduce-minimize-instrument-fix loop, enabling quick resolution of bugs and failing tests.

Core Features & Use Cases

Automated Debugging Loop: Simplifies the process of debugging by automating the reproduction, minimization, and fixing of issues.
Provenance Tracking: Records all actions and findings in a structured report, providing a clear history of the debugging process.
Use Case: When a Gofer-related implementation, test, or integration fails, this skill can be used to generate a detailed report that includes provenance, reproduction steps, and recommended fixes.

Quick Start

Run the gofer:diagnose command to initiate the debugging process for the current workspace.

Frequently Asked Questions about gofer:diagnose

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate debugging for failing Gofer tests and integrations?▼

To automate debugging for Gofer, use a structured reproduce-minimize-instrument-fix loop. This approach systematically reproduces the error, minimizes the test case, instruments the code, and applies a fix, generating a detailed report of the process.

What is the best way to reproduce and minimize bugs in EAI Platform applications?▼

The best way to reproduce and minimize bugs in EAI Platform applications is by running an automated diagnostics skill. It utilizes Gofer-specific sentinels, templates, and scripts to systematically isolate the failure and generate a provenance report.

Can I track the history of debugging steps taken during Gofer issue resolution?▼

Yes, you can track the history of debugging steps through provenance tracking. The automated debugging loop records all actions and findings in a structured report, providing a clear history of the reproduction, minimization, and fixing process.

Do I need specific scripts to diagnose issues in a Gofer workspace?▼

Yes, diagnosing issues in a Gofer workspace requires Gofer-specific sentinels, templates, and scripts. These components facilitate the structured debugging process on the EAI Platform, enabling quick resolution of bugs and failing tests.

How do I get a detailed report of recommended fixes for a Gofer implementation failure?▼

To get a detailed report of recommended fixes for a Gofer implementation failure, run the automated debugging command in your current workspace. It will execute the reproduce-minimize-instrument-fix loop and output a report with provenance, reproduction steps, and fixes.
