FAQPage Schema

How do I manage dependency injection in a complex Go application?▼

Dependency injection in a complex Go application is managed by using the uber-go/fx framework to simplify dependency wiring, configuration, and modular composition. This Skill automates component wiring and lifecycle management.

How do I refactor a monolithic Go application into modular architecture?▼

Refactoring a monolithic Go application into modular architecture is achieved by using uber-go/fx to organize dependencies and support reusable code composition. This Skill helps transition monolithic structures into maintainable, modular designs.

How does lifecycle management work for Go application components?▼

Lifecycle management for Go application components works by providing hooks for gracefully starting and stopping components via the uber-go/fx framework. This Skill automates these hooks to ensure clean application lifecycle transitions.

What do I need to set up before using uber-go/fx for dependency wiring?▼

Before using uber-go/fx for dependency wiring, you need to install the library by running go get go.uber.org/fx within your Go programming environment. This Skill requires both Go and the uber-go/fx library to function correctly.

When should I use a dependency injection framework in Go instead of manual wiring?▼

You should use a dependency injection framework like uber-go/fx when your Go application requires complex dependency management, modular architecture, and graceful lifecycle management. This Skill targets complex applications that outgrow manual wiring.
