Many repositories lack consistent, machine-readable AI guidance, which leads to inconsistent assistant behavior, outdated rules, and fragmented instruction files like CLAUDE.md. Golden Agents automates detecting repository state and either generates, migrates, or upgrades a canonical AGENTS.md so teams have a single source of AI guidance.

• Repository Detection: Checks for git presence, existing AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md, and framework markers to decide New, Migrate, or Upgrade workflows.
• Language & Project-Type Inference: Scans common dependency and layout files to infer languages (python, go, javascript, etc.) and project types (cli-tools, web-apps, mobile-apps).
• Automated Workflows: Drives the golden-agents generator (sync, dry-run, upgrade/apply) and creates redirect files (CLAUDE.md, CODEX.md, GEMINI.md, COPILOT.md) while backing up originals and prompting for commit approval.
