Converts local presentation files (PPT, PPTX, or ODP) into native Google Slides decks so users can edit, review, and share them within Google Slides.

  • Import the presentation into a new native Google Slides deck.
  • Read the imported deck to verify deck properties such as slide count and major titles.
  • Verify and hand off to the appropriate follow-on workflow (google-slides, google-slides-visual-iteration, or google-slides-template-migration).
  • Follow safety and fidelity rules: do not edit the source file; preserve slide order and content; handle drift by post-import cleanup.
