FAQPage Schema

How do I audit research milestones to verify completion against original research goals?▼

Auditing research milestones involves verifying milestone completion and quality against predefined goals and standards. This process requires access to milestone documentation, phase summaries, and verification files to perform consistency checks and evaluate requirement coverage for the research project.

What is cross-phase consistency checking in research milestones?▼

Cross-phase consistency checking evaluates whether research outputs align across different project phases. It identifies discrepancies and addresses open questions from prior research phases, ensuring that milestone documentation remains coherent and aligned with the original research goals throughout the lifecycle.

How do I assess requirement coverage for a research milestone?▼

Assessing requirement coverage involves evaluating milestone documentation and verification files against predefined research goals. This process measures the completeness of all specified requirements, identifying gaps in the research outputs and highlighting any remaining open questions that need resolution.

Can I use peer review to evaluate research milestone quality?▼

Peer review can be used to evaluate research milestone quality through an optional simulated peer review process. This provides an independent assessment of the milestone documentation, complementing the automated consistency checks and requirement coverage evaluations to ensure the research meets quality standards.

What documentation do I need to perform a research milestone audit?▼

To perform a research milestone audit, you need access to milestone documentation, phase summaries, and verification files. These inputs are required to successfully run consistency checks, evaluate requirement coverage, and generate a detailed report on milestone status and next steps.

What is included in a research milestone audit report?▼

A research milestone audit report provides a detailed status overview of the milestone, including the results of consistency checks and requirement coverage evaluations. It also identifies open questions from research phases and outlines actionable next steps to ensure quality standards are met.
