SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve?

This Skill automates the creation of presentation decks from a GPD project or the current workspace, reducing manual slide authoring time and ensuring consistency with project context.

Core Features & Use Cases

Inventory workspace to detect GPD projects and relevant inputs (papers, notes, figures, code, data).
Establish a talk brief, audience, duration, and output format, then generate a structured slide outline and deck.
Materialize slide assets under slides/ including presentation brief, outline, slides, and optional speaker notes using deterministic templates.
Verify and report on outputs, with options to refresh or update existing decks if present.

Quick Start

Run the gpd-slides skill in your workspace to inventory inputs, establish a talk brief, choose a deck format, and produce a complete slide deck under slides.

Frequently Asked Questions about gpd-slides

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate presentation deck creation from project notes and code?▼

To automate presentation deck creation, the skill inventories your workspace for papers, notes, figures, and code, then uses deterministic templates to map a brief and slide structure into ready-to-render outputs. It generates a concise outline and deck under the slides directory.

What is the best way to turn a workspace project into a slide outline?▼

Turning a workspace project into a slide outline requires establishing a talk brief, audience, and duration, then applying deterministic templates to the identified source material. This process yields a structured slide outline and materialized deck assets under the slides directory.

Can I generate speaker notes along with my presentation slides?▼

You can generate speaker notes alongside presentation slides. The process materializes a presentation brief, outline, and slides under the slides directory, including optional speaker notes to satisfy talk requirements using deterministic templates.

Does the presentation generator work with existing decks in my workspace?▼

Yes, the presentation generator works with existing decks by verifying and reporting on current outputs. If a deck is present, it provides options to refresh or update the existing slides, ensuring consistency with your project context.

Do I need any dependencies to generate slides from a GPD project?▼

You do not need any dependencies to generate slides from a GPD project. The skill operates independently to inventory your workspace, identify source material, and produce a concise outline and deck using built-in deterministic templates.
