SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Content generation for clients often fails because the initial brief is incomplete or based on assumptions. This Skill enforces a disciplined, one-question-at-a-time interview process that extracts the client's real product description, customer persona, brand voice, platform priorities, and goals before any content is generated, producing a confirmed brief.yaml as the source of truth. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Structured 10-Question Interview Sequence: Covers product description, customer persona, reference content, past flops, Shopify data, brand voice, platform priority, category truth, visual references, and primary goal. - Strict Interview Discipline: Never batches questions, never summarizes mid-interview, and includes follow-up prompts and red-flag rules for vague or contradictory answers. - Brief.yaml Generation: Synthesizes all answers into a structured YAML brief covering client, product, customer, brand voice, content strategy, taste, and research flags, then reads it back for confirmation. - Use Case: A creative agency onboards a new DTC skincare client. The agent runs the interview, captures the customer's real persona and the brand's never-say words, and outputs a confirmed brief.yaml that drives research, ideation, scoring, and approval downstream. ## Quick Start Start a grill-me interview with this new client before generating any content and produce a brief.yaml from my answers.

FAQPage Schema
How do I run a client intake interview before generating content?

Run the interview sequence one question at a time, waiting for each answer before asking the next. The ten questions cover product, customer, reference content, flops, Shopify data, brand voice, platforms, category truth, visuals, and goals, then synthesize everything into a brief.yaml.

What questions should I ask a client to build a content brief?

Ask for the real product description, a specific best customer, three reference posts they admire, recent flops, Shopify metrics like AOV and repeat rate, three brand adjectives plus never-say words, ranked platforms, a category misconception, visual references, and one primary goal.

What output does the grill-me interview produce?

It produces a brief.yaml containing client, product, customer, brand voice, content strategy, taste, and research flags sections. The brief is read back to the client for confirmation and becomes the source of truth for research, ideation, scoring, and approval.

Can I use this interview if the client has no Shopify data?

Yes. Proceed with verbally shared information and flag the brief with ltv_data_source set to verbal or none. The brief notes that a CSV is still needed later for scoring optimization.

When should I re-interview a client instead of generating content?

Re-interview when the brief feels incomplete mid-pipeline or when scoring returns too many sub-60 scores. Red flags like contradictory brand adjectives, an everyone customer, or an all-three goal also trigger re-asking specific questions.
