SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

What problem does it solve? Plans, designs, and decisions often contain hidden assumptions, untested tradeoffs, and unexamined failure modes that only surface after costly execution. This Skill runs a calibrated interrogation session that probes a plan's goals, constraints, options, risks, and validation criteria before you commit. ## Core Features & Use Cases - Calibrated Pressure: Assesses your topic knowledge (New, Working, Expert) and desired intensity (Light, Standard, Hard) before grilling, so questions match your level. - Structured Question Ladder: Moves through goal fit, constraint reality, option pressure, execution path, failure modes, validation, and reversibility, one question at a time with recommended answers. - Decision Map Tracking: Privately tracks goals, constraints, dependencies, risks, and rollback plans, then ends with a summary of the final decision, open questions, and next actions. - Use Case: Before starting a migration project, say "grill me on my database migration plan" to have assumptions, edge cases, and rollback strategy challenged until the plan is defensible. ## Quick Start Ask the assistant to grill you on your current plan or decision and specify how hard you want the pressure to be.

FAQPage Schema
How do I stress-test a plan before executing it?

Ask the assistant to grill you on the plan. It first calibrates your knowledge level and desired pressure, then asks one question at a time across goals, constraints, options, execution, failure modes, validation, and reversibility, with a recommended answer for each question.

How to challenge my own assumptions about a design decision?

Use a structured grilling session that probes option pressure and constraint reality. The skill asks why your approach beats alternatives, what assumption would kill the plan if false, and what evidence would change your mind.

Can I adjust how intense the plan review questions are?

Yes. You can set pressure to Light, Standard, or Hard during calibration, and change it anytime mid-session by saying softer, harder, teach more, or skip basics. The default is Working knowledge with Standard pressure.

What happens if I am new to the topic being grilled?

The skill detects a New knowledge level and briefly teaches missing concepts in two to four sentences before asking questions. It avoids jargon, reduces branching questions, and focuses on goals, constraints, and first principles.

When does the grilling session end?

The session ends when you say stop, when the plan has a clear goal, constraints, approach, validation, and next step, or when missing information requires external research. It closes with the final decision, open questions, next action, and risks to watch.
