SYSTEM DOCUMENTATION & REQUIREMENTS

💡 This Skill includes scripts (resource) and references (resource) components.

What problem does it solve?

This Skill streamlines the execution of the Getting Things Done (GSD) methodology, making it easier to manage projects efficiently.

Core Features & Use Cases

GSD Execution: Automates the GSD process of triage, map, plan, decide, implement, validate, and close.
Phased Workflow: Sequences tasks into defined phases with specific actions for each.
State Management: Tracks and manages state in a structured way to ensure project progress and accountability.
Use Case: For software development, you can use this Skill to automate the project lifecycle stages, ensuring that every feature and bug is tracked, implemented, and validated.

Quick Start

Activate the gsd-execution skill and begin by executing the workflow phase 'triage'.

High-intent search queries and answers about installing and using this skill.

FAQPage Schema

How do I automate project management workflow execution from triage to closure?▼

Workflow execution is automated by sequencing tasks into defined phases: triage, mapping, planning, decision-making, implementation, validation, and closure. This ensures structured project progress and accountability without manual intervention.

What is the best way to manage project state during task automation?▼

State management requires tracking and managing project state in a structured way. This maintains progress and accountability throughout the automated workflow execution phases of the project lifecycle.

Can I use GSD methodology automation for software development lifecycles?▼

Yes, GSD methodology automation fits software development by tracking, implementing, and validating features and bugs. It sequences the project lifecycle stages to ensure every task is processed through the defined workflow phases.

How do I start automating project phases with the GSD methodology?▼

To start automating project phases, activate the workflow and begin by executing the 'triage' phase. This initiates the structured sequence of mapping, planning, deciding, implementing, validating, and closing tasks.

Do I need specific project management structures for workflow execution?▼

Yes, workflow execution requires specific project management structures and state management to operate effectively. These established structures are necessary to support the automated GSD process.

Why does task automation require defined phases for project management?▼

Task automation requires defined phases to sequence specific actions properly. Phased workflows ensure that triage, planning, implementation, and validation occur in order, maintaining project progress and accountability.
