Hand off to a fresh Claude session. Use when context is full, you've finished a logical chunk of work, or need a fresh perspective. Work continues from hook.

Core Features & Use Cases

  • Session cycling: Respawn Claude with a fresh context while preserving your current work state.
  • Handoff mail: Optional message to yourself sent during the handoff.
  • Automatic priming: The new session auto-primes via the SessionStart hook and continues from your hooked molecule.
  • Persistence guarantees: Hooked molecule, beads state, and git state persist across sessions.

Quick Start

In Gas Town, run the handoff command to cycle to a fresh Claude session. If you want to include notes, add a message:

/handoff /handoff "Checked in: review token refresh -- see auth.go line 145"
