FAQPage Schema

How do I generate structured project planning documents for AI coding workflows?▼

Project planning for AI coding workflows involves creating task-driven plans with risk-tiered decision documentation. This approach captures all tasks and key decisions, making the plan executable and reviewable at every development stage.

How does risk-tiered decision documentation work in software development planning?▼

Risk-tiered decision documentation categorizes project decisions by risk level to streamline software development planning. It captures tasks and key choices, ensuring the plan remains executable and reviewable at every project stage.

Can I create multi-level plans for different stages of software development?▼

Yes, creating multi-level plans for software development is supported, ranging from basic documentation to detailed design and spec documentation. This ensures every project stage has an appropriately detailed and actionable plan.

Do I need gate mechanisms to move a software project forward in AI-driven workflows?▼

Yes, integrating gate mechanisms ensures an AI-driven software project moves forward without missteps. These mechanisms validate the comprehensive plan at each stage, preventing errors before development proceeds.

What is the best way to integrate decision documentation with gate mechanisms?▼

The best way to integrate decision documentation with gate mechanisms is through a unified workflow framework. This connects task documentation with gate checks, ensuring the software project moves forward without missteps.

When should I not use automated plan generation for software development?▼

You should avoid automated plan generation when a project requires highly customized, non-standard documentation outside predefined risk tiers. It is designed for structured, task-driven AI coding workflows rather than ad-hoc planning needs.
