What problem does it solve?
This Skill reduces user decision fatigue by guiding you to choose effective UI defaults so most users can act without extra thinking.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Design decision defaults: Pre-select the most likely option for radio groups, dropdowns, pickers, and configuration UIs to mitigate Hick's Law cost.
- Default ethics & risk checks: Distinguish user-serving defaults from manipulative or high-stakes pre-selection, including when to require explicit user choice.
- Default strength selection: Recommend when to use pre-selection vs implicit acceptance vs opt-out vs forced defaults with disclosure, based on consequence level.
Quick Start
Ask your agent to recommend the best default type for a settings or onboarding flow, including what to pre-select, what to label as recommended, and which option should remain unset for ethical reasons.
