What problem does it solve?
Converts raw insights, problem statements, or persona frustrations into structured "How Might We" opportunity questions so teams can move from understanding to solution generation without framing issues that imply solutions or are too broad.
Core Features & Use Cases
- Structured extraction: Pulls the core elements (who, need, barrier, context) from insight statements or interview fragments to ground every question in evidence.
- Multi-scope variants: Produces at least five HMW variants across systemic, experience, friction, reframe, and inversion scopes plus agent-specific patterns for discoverability, parseability, transactability, fidelity, and failure grace.
- Scope testing & recommendations: Applies IDEO-style scope tests to avoid overly broad or narrow prompts and highlights 2–3 recommended HMWs as starting points for brainstorming; saves results for research traceability.
Quick Start
Generate five HMW variants from the insight INS-123: New users need clear onboarding because they are unfamiliar with terminology, and recommend two variants for brainstorming.
